Agri Climate Info Day
The Agri Climate project comes to an end and delivers high-quality results that aim to integrate social dimensions into agri-climate change adaptations on a local level.
In line with this goal, the consortium developed various activities and corresponding results:
1. An assessment of the initial social impact to identify and manage intended and unintended social consequences that climate change has over agriculture in the Municipality of Rosoman, in the Republic on North Macedonia.
2. Development of a prototype Municipal Strategy for Climate Change Adaptation, for the Municipality of Rosoman.
3. Development of Integration Guideline for social dimensions into agri-climate change adaptations planning and decision processes at the municipal level.
4. Training program for climate changes adaptation measures for farmers to reduce the barriers and constraints to the involvement of farmers in processes of adaptation of climate changes and training of 10 farmers on climate change adaptation, during the transnational training activity in Cyprus.
To promote the final outcomes of the project to the wider audience, the Agri Climate Info day took place on the 25th of October, 2024, with the participation of more than 30 participants. The goal of this event was to present the project results to a larger audience, ensuring the impact of results on a wider scale.
