AI4Agri Final Conference in Lomza, Poland

The AI4Agri consortium held its Final Conference at the Hala Kultury in Łomża, Poland, marking the culmination of the AI4Agri EU Project, “Developing Green and Digital Skills Towards AI Use in Agriculture,” co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union. The event celebrated two years of international collaboration focused on advancing innovation, sustainability, and digitalization in agricultural education.

Hosted by the Polish Farm Advisory and Training Centre, the conference gathered project partners, educators, policymakers, and students from three agricultural schools in Łomża, highlighting AI4Agri’s commitment to engaging the next generation of agricultural professionals.

During the event, partners from Sweden, Cyprus, Greece, and Poland presented the project’s key outcomes, including the:

• AI4Agri Final Analysis
• Comprehensive AI4Agri Curriculum and Pedagogical Manual for vocational training,
• Open-access E-learning Platform offering seven AI-focused modules,
• Pilot Testing Report validating training results across partner countries,
• Policy Recommendations Report proposing five strategic pillars for AI adoption in agriculture and 
• Project's website and dissemination activities

Distinguished guests, including Minister Stefan Krajewski, MP Bogumiła Olbryś, and Klaudia Witulska (Eurodesk Łomża), discussed the future of Polish agriculture, educational transformation, and EU opportunities for vocational learners. A panel discussion moderated by Karolina Krzykowska (Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University) featured expert contributions from Igor Skrodzki (MANS University), Sylwia Makowska (Director of the VET and General Education School Complex No. 7 in Łomża), and Cezary Banach (Ewa & Cezary Banach Farm), explored how modern technologies, non-formal education, and entrepreneurship can shape the future of European farming.

The conference concluded with closing reflections and a networking session, reinforcing AI4Agri’s enduring impact. The project’s tools and results, including its curriculum, training modules, and policy insights, will remain publicly available to support educators and institutions across Europe.
