AI4GreenSME: Partners' Meeting (Virtual)
The kick-off meeting of the AI4GreenSME project was held online on the 17th November. During the meeting, the partners of the consortium were able to introduce themselves and get to know each other.
AI4GreenSME focuses on training small business managers in emerging technologies, including AI and machine learning, to promote their adoption for a circular economy. Addressing priorities such as fighting climate change, it emphasizes AI’s potential to optimize processes and reduce waste. The project tackles digital transformation gaps in SMEs, particularly in skills development for smaller businesses, fostering competence in new technologies. By adapting vocational education to labor market needs, AI4GreenSME aims to equip decision-makers with the knowledge and skills required for sustainable industry practices and environmental awareness.
The project’s aim, objectives and activities were presented to the consortium, along with the other aspects of the project, such as quality assurance, green strategy and dissemination. In addition, a discussion regarding the 1st working seminar of the project in Valencia took place among the partners.
All partners shared their willingness to contribute their expertise and resources for the succesful implementation of the AI4GreenSME project.
