AI4GreenSME: Working Seminar (Malta)
The 2nd Working Seminar of the AI4GreenSME European project took place in Valletta, Malta, on the 22-23 May 2024. Staff members from all organisations within the project’s partnership were present during both days of the working seminar activity.
The agenda of the working seminar included several sections, which all aimed at the monitoring of already implemented activities and the creation of a solid basis for the implementation of the project’s next steps.
Initially, all partners presented the findings of their national research activities, including the distribution of survey questionnaires and the implementation of national Focus Groups. This research process focused on the already-existing knowledge and skills of SME managers in Green-related and AI-related topics, as well as their training needs, so as to respond to the ever-changing demands of the market.
The next section included a presentation of the draft version of the Competence Profile for modern SME managers. The presentation was carried out by Omnia and it included all the desired knowledge, skills and competencies for the project’s main target group, along with a proposal for the AI4GreenSME course’s structure.
The presentation was a great link to the next section of the working seminar, which is the presentation of the online learning platform’s possible functionalities. This part was illustrated by B&P and it provided a common understanding of the course’s technical aspects among all partners.
Finally, the 2-day working seminar was concluded by a fruitful and participative brainstorming discussion, as to the final selection of modules for the AI4GreenSME course.
