EcoWater: Prince Albert II Foundation BeMed Award

Omnia, alongside 10 other Mediterranean entities, including Together Cyprus and the Agia Napa Municipality from Cyprus, proudly received the prestigious BeMed award from the Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco.

The primary objectives of the project include:

• Assessing the current status of single-use plastic bottle flow in Cyprus.
• Establishing an online map that allows the public to locate water stations for refilling their reusable bottles.
• Strengthening partnerships and enhancing the capacity of local and international collaborators.

BeMed is committed to fostering innovative projects that contribute to the reduction of single-use plastic consumption, thereby promoting a cleaner Mediterranean Sea.
