CypruSaves: Presentation

Dr. Maria Doula from presents the CypruSaves project.

CypruSaves aims to address current and future water shortage and agricultural environment protection through sustainable manage of soil, nutrients, and pesticide use. The project will develop tools to enable the end-users to:

1. manage their fields in terms of water, nutrients, pesticides and soil properties;
2. calculate water requirements of their crops and develop the irrigation plan;
3. estimate the water footprint of all processes;
4. combine and assess data gathered from sensors, meteorological stations, and project tools to properly adjust their practices;
5. exploit tools’ communication features to share data, knowledge, information and practices.
