Empowering Agriculture with AI: Register the AI4Agri e-learning Platform

Agriculture today is at the crossroads of a green and digital revolution. Driven by the European Green Deal and the modernisation of the Common Agricultural Policy, farming must evolve. Not only to become more sustainable, but also smarter. The European Union recognises that this transition requires a workforce equipped with both digital and green skills. That’s where the AI4Agri project comes in.

Smaller-scale farms and agricultural workers often face barriers in accessing “smart farming” tools. At the same time, many agricultural communities are grappling with an ageing workforce and the challenge of attracting younger talent. AI4Agri responds by delivering Vocational Education & Training modules and policy guidance to make artificial intelligence tools accessible in agriculture.

AI4Agri is pioneering because it does not simply bring existing digital modules into agriculture. It addresses a specific need: overcoming the digital-green divide in the agricultural landscape. The project complements existing programmes by tailoring AI training for agriculture, especially for smaller-scale enterprises. By integrating pedagogical resources and multilingual delivery, AI4Agri enriches the ecosystem of agricultural upskilling in a way that is scalable, sustainable and aligned with EU priorities.
