Ktirion 53
As part of our Social Responsibility and ESG strategy we are honored to support the ongoing activities of Ktirion 53.
Ktirion 53 is located within the walls of Nicosia, emanating culture and standing adjacent to the Green Line.
In the past, it housed the atelier of the artist Mr. Kikkos Lanitis, the woodworking laboratory of Mr. Savvas Isaak, and Mr. Pavlos Georgiou's cafe 'Gonia's Patroclus'. At present, the building is undergoing a restoration process to its original form, as well as renovation by the interdisciplinary collective cultural team.
The building will host in its café and workshop spaces, contemporary quests, new artistic behaviors, educational arts, intercultural dialogues, volunteers, collaborations with youth, audience development initiatives, workshops, theatrical and musical events, seminars, platforms for expression and creation, experimental arts, research, educational and European programs, screenings, narratives of our place, and more.
Through its actions, 'Ktirion 53' aims to create a hub for free speech, wishing to provide space for enthusiasts and dreamers of all art forms, new experiences, artistic concerns, innovative methods, actions and reactions, artist-public dialogues, an idea pool, always within a friendly atmosphere.
The common vision of this space is to support, unite, and highlight the coexistence of creative individuals, resulting in the realization of timeless cultural collaborations.
Initially, the following organizations are housed in 'Ktirion 53'.
