Omnia certifies New ALTER TOURS PRO GUIDES in Cyprus

OMNIA is delighted to announce the successful completion of its recent training and certification programme in sustainable and alternative tourism, delivered to a group of dedicated tourist guides in Cyprus.

Held across several sessions in September and October 2025, the four-day training equipped participants with practical skills in green tourism practices, digital marketing, and the development of meaningful alternative thematic tours. The programme was delivered by qualified trainers who specialise in sustainability-focused tourism education.

A total of seven Cypriot tourist guides and agents took part in the training. Following the completion of all modules, participants underwent a formal assessment, including a practical examination in November 2025.

Several guides successfully met all evaluation criteria and were awarded the ALTER TOURS PRO GUIDE certification. This title reflects their enhanced competences in designing and delivering high-quality, environmentally responsible tourism experiences, skills that are increasingly sought after in today’s evolving tourism sector.
