SARE - National Training Activities and 3rd Newsletter

The SARE project – Smart Agriculture for Resource Efficiency – has successfully completed its national training activities in Poland, Cyprus and Malta, bringing together farmers, agricultural practitioners, trainers and other stakeholders to explore innovative approaches to sustainable farming. In total, 31 participants took part in the training activities across the three partner countries.

In Cyprus, OMNIA delivered a hybrid training programme that combined online learning, self-study, group discussions and field-based activities at Riverland Bio Farm. Participants engaged with the SARE DigiHub and explored practical tools and methods related to smart agriculture, resource efficiency and sustainable farming practices. The training exceeded its initial target, attracting 11 participants.

The completion of these activities represents an important milestone for the project, supporting the development of digital and green competences within the agricultural sector. Through the SARE DigiHub and training materials, participants gained valuable insights into smart agriculture, water and energy efficiency, and sustainable resource management.

The project continues to promote knowledge exchange and innovation in agriculture, supporting the transition towards more sustainable and resource-efficient farming practices across Europe.
