SEEDS Transnational Training, July 2025
At the beginning of July, a group of enthusiastic pre-primary and primary school teachers from Cyprus travelled to the beautiful town of Pego, Spain, to take part in an inspiring Transnational Training organized under the SEEDS educational program. There, they were warmly welcomed by fellow educators from Spain, setting the stage for a dynamic exchange of knowledge, creativity, and culture.
Over the course of the training, participants from both Spain and Cyprus had the opportunity to:
✅ Discover hands-on eco-art techniques and engage with nature through outdoor learning
✅ Explore innovative strategies for promoting environmental awareness among young learners
✅ Collaborate across borders, gaining valuable insights from peers with diverse educational experiences
✅ Receive a toolkit of practical resources to bring the SEEDS approach to life in their own classrooms
The gathering served as a vital step in building the capacity of teachers to deliver engaging, nature-based learning experiences that encourage sustainability, creativity, and critical thinking in students.
Through a series of interactive workshops and non-formal learning sessions, the educators delved into the heart of environmental education, shared best practices, and brainstormed ideas for integrating the SEEDS methodology into everyday school activities. The atmosphere was filled with collaboration, inspiration, and a shared passion for shaping a greener future.
🌍 This training was more than just a professional development opportunity, it was a celebration of collective effort to nurture eco-conscious minds and reimagine the role of education in sustainability.
Stay tuned for more updates as our teachers will soon begin to implement what they’ve learned, transforming their schools into creative, environmentally aware learning spaces!
