SEEDS
Empowering pre-primary and primary school teachers' in using and combining Eco-Art for Eco awareness, psycho-social tools and non-formal teaching methods.
The main aim of the SEEDS project is to provide primary and pre-primary school teachers with a unique psychoeducational program that introduces eco-psychology and environmental art in the natural environment and helps their students promote their overall wellbeing, appreciate and connect with nature around them and co-exist with respect.
The main objectives of the project are:
- Enhance the capacity of at least 10 pre-primary &primary school teachers in Eco-Art by introducing, training and providing practical experience in the 'Seeds' educational program. Teachers will gain hands-on experience with the theoretical content and practical activities of the ‘Seeds’ psychoeducational program.
- Strengthen the competences and knowledge of at least 10 pre-primary &primary school teachers in non-formal education methods which are connected to sciences, arts, and environment. Throughout a range of non-formal educational workshops, hands-on activities, and training, teachers will gain increased confidence in employing non-formal methods, think creatively, devising their own non-formal activities, while enhancing their understanding of the environment, eco-art, eco-psychology, and their connection with well-being and health.
- Deliver easy-to-use educational material in the form of OER reaching at least 1000 stakeholders. The material will be accessible on ‘Seeds’ websites and partners' social media platforms.
