SUFABU II – 3rd Transnational Project Meeting in Nicosia, Cyprus
On November 18, Omnia proudly hosted the 3rd Transnational Project Meeting of the European project “SUFABU II: Adoption of Green Transition Challenges for Building a Sustainable Economic Model of SMEs in Europe”. The meeting, held in Nicosia, Cyprus, brought together project partners from all partner countries (Germany, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Italy, Spain and Sweden), to assess the project’s progress and chart the way forward.
During the meeting, the consortium engaged in productive discussions on key activities, including:
- The collection of in-depth case studies of family businesses implementing green transition practices
- The development of green transition training modules and micro-learning videos
- The creation of a comprehensive online training platform and the provision of training to family business entrepreneurs
Participants also reviewed milestones achieved since the last meeting and provided input to ensure the development of impactful deliverables aligned with SUFABU’s goals. Finally, the meeting’s conclusions emphasized the ever-growing importance of supporting family SMEs in embracing sustainable practices in the context of the green transition.
The next face-to-face meeting of the SUFABU II partnership will take place in Jönköping, Sweden in May 2025.
Omnia extends its gratitude to all partners for their valuable contributions and looks forward to the continued progress of SUFABU II.
