The WE: Real World Education project, co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ programme, has reached a significant milestone by entering the Work Package 5 (WP5) phase. We are excited to share the progress and significant results achieved so far.

Significant progress in Work Package 5

The core of WP5 was the creation and launch of the mobile application WE: Real World Education. This innovative app is designed to raise awareness of environmental issues through a playful and educational approach. Users are invited to explore sustainable practices and develop an eco-friendly mindset, all while playing. The app uses an interactive methodology that makes learning about crucial sustainability issues both effective and fun. The app is now available for download at the following links:

We have also developed 17 interactive training scenarios based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Each scenario offers practical examples to raise user awareness, with new levels and unlockable features based on the quality of environmental decisions made by players.

Application Innovations and Multiplier Events

The application features a ranking section, allowing users to compare themselves with other players globally. An updated ‘News’ section provides information on local and global environmental initiatives, increasing engagement and awareness.

Six Multiplier Events were also organised in different European countries - Latvia, Greece, Italy, Denmark, Spain, and Cyprus. These events involved over 120 participants, raising awareness on how to adopt more sustainable behaviour.
